Sausage gravy biscuits are a go-to breakfast in the Baity house. I get asked a lot how I make my sausage gravy and it is a very basic recipe handed down several generations.
Salt & Pepper
When the meat is browned add 1/4 cup of AP flour to the skillet and stir. Cook for about 1 minute.
Add your milk (see video for instructions) it will be about 1 1/2-2 cups depending on how much you prefer for creaminess.
Bring to a boil on medium-high heat then reduce to a simmer, stirring constantly. When the gravy gets to the consistency you prefer turn off the eye and allow it to sit for a moment. Serve warm.
